Мораль європейського суспільства ХХ століття у творах класиків світової літератури

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано зміни в моральних устоях європейського суспільства через світосприйняття та світорозуміння класиків світової літератури, показано еволюцію моралі в найближчому соціумі рубежу ХІХ – ХХ століть на прикладі взаємостосунків у драмі Ріхарда Енглендера «Таємниця в скринці», моральні взаємини між людьми «першого» і «третього» світів у виставі Жоржа Дюамеля «Це трапилося на свята». Доведено, що вивчення моральних відносин і кардинальних змін у них неможливе, без творів художньої літератури сучасників тієї епохи. У статті виявлено зміни між оригіналами й кіно версіями вказаних вище драм, спроектовано можливі напрями подальшого дослідження цієї проблеми.

The article analyzes the changes in the moral conditions of European society through the worldview and understanding of the classics of world literature, shows the evolution of morality in the closest society of the turn of the nineteenth - twentieth centuries. the third “worlds in the play of George Duhamel” It happened on holidays. It is proved that the study of moral relations and radical changes in them is impossible without the works of fiction contemporaries of that era. The article identifies changes between the originals and movie versions of the above dramas, and outlines possible directions for further investigation of this problem. The study of a society of a certain age through its perception by contemporary artists of those times is extremely important for any study. And although we claim that art is a reflection of reality at the artistic and emotional level, yet each of the authors of the works had to live in the middle of that society, to breathe it with air. Therefore, studying the history of relationships between social states of the population, relying on only one documents, we lose the very feeling of this history. Through the two works we have examined, we observe how father-child relationships changed in the early twentieth century compared to the Turgenean times, and with them social morality; how relations between the “first” and “third” countries in the middle of the ХХІ century became more acute after the fall of the colonial system. Therefore, this problem is not limited to the research currently available on this issue. Her priority areas are to study the life of society through the paintings of great artists and through music, which is a reflection of the rhythm of life and the pulsation of society.
