Role of psychosocial factors in the formation of professional stress of teachers and its influenceon health and working capacity

Abstract

Psychoemotional health of teachers is one of the success factors of the educational system that determines the effectiveness of the training and education of pupils and students, especially in the education reform. Psychosocial factors is generally presented as an issue of global importance, relevant to all countries, professions. WHO experts, conducting research reached the conclusion that psychosocial factors may contribute to the formation of stress at work, lead to deterioration of the health of workers, reduce the effectiveness of professional activity. Conversion to the personality-oriented education model leads to increasing demands from society to the individual teacher, his role in the learning process, the ability to reflect and optimally adjust his activity when he is facing difficulties in establishing contact with pupils or students. Great emotional and physical stress, the need to maintain his skills, to keep up with innovative technologies — all this complicates the life of the teacher.
